A lobby with marble walls in Rorschach pattern, a subtile reference to Onjegins personality, settle the play in modern day Russia. Spy-mirror foil on plexiglass in combination with projections make this stage design appearance change within a second. The winter garden by that operates as a time machine, commenting the play in the lobby.
