Private client | Hamburg, Germany | 2010

Assignment: transformation apartment from the 80’s

Floorspace: 60m2

This small pied-à-terre in Hamburg will undergo a thoroughly interior transformation. The out-dated interior will be completely stripped. The rough concrete bearing walls will be made visual and highlighted by lighting rails. The floor, made of underlayment panels, is seen as a connecting element; it covers the heating system, creating a generous windowsill for enjoying the magnificent views from the 17th floor, and the simple but elegant kitchen. The furnishing will be kept basic in warm white and gray tones combined with wood.
