Architecture student | final thesis

This thesis focusses on the prefabricated social housing in the former DDR. Their rise during the DDR and their fall after the fall of the iron Curtain is reviewed on it’s political, social and economical backgrounds. Together with its building methods and ideologies it is examined by several case studies.
